Terry Cornwell, age 70 of Highland, IL, died Friday, December 5, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

She was born on Monday, September 12, 1955, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Edwin and Patsy (nee Gorman) Clouse.

On Saturday, April 12, 1980, she married Edward Allen Cornwell in Okawville, IL, who survives.

Terry was born and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. Her family moved to Illinois, and she was a 1973 graduate of Okawville High School. She worked at Famous Barr for a year and then started with Ralston Purina. She left Ral Corp in 2015. She and her husband had lived in Granite City for a number of years and moved to Grantfork in August of 2022. For many years they had spent vacations on Treasure Island, Florida. Terry enjoyed collecting blue glass. She was an avid reader and reading 200-300 novels a year was not unusual for her.

She was preceded in death by:
Father - Edwin Clouse (died 5/12/2001)
Mother - Patsy Clouse, nee Gorman (died 2/27/2008)

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
