Richard E. Smith, age 67 of Alhambra, IL, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Alhambra Rehab & Health Care in Alhambra, IL.
He was born on Saturday, June 1, 1957, in St. Louis, MO, the son of Richard and Mary (nee Brown) Smith.
Richard was a resident of Alhambra Care Center, Alhambra, Illinois. He previously lived in Granite City Illinois. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family along with his many pets over the years. He retired 10 years ago from Hussmann Refrigeration Company, St. Louis, Missouri.
Survivors include:
Daughter - Barbara C. "Barbie" Buckingham (Fiance Greg Voelkel), Highland, IL
Former Wife - Pam R. Smith, New Douglas, IL
Grandchild - Jerzi Buckingham
Grandchild - Carson Buckingham
Grandchild - Dean Voelkel
Grandchild - Warren Voelkel.
He was preceded in death by:
Father - Richard Smith
Mother - Mary (Brown) Smith.
