Nancy Helen Anderson, age 98 of Glen Carbon, IL, died Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL.

She was born on Sunday, March 13, 1927, in Trenton, IL, the daughter of Edward and Helen (nee Seger) Henss.

On Saturday, February 5, 1949, she married Donald "Andy" Ben Anderson at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Trenton, Illinois, who passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2006.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was also a member of Altar Society of St. Mary's, St. Clair Country Club, and Carlyle Golf Club.

Nancy was born in Trenton, IL and grew up there. She was a graduate of Trenton High School and worked at Scott Air Force Base for a few years. Nancy and her husband purchased Trenton Motor Parts and operated it for over 30 years. In December 2007, she moved to Meridian Village and was very sociable and a friend to everyone there. She enjoyed bowling, bridge, golf and poker. Nancy loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the PGA golfers, especially Scottie Scheffler. Nancy enjoyed trips to St. Pete beach in Florida from 1956-2000, as they stayed there during the winter months. A beautiful wife to her Andy, a loving mom and most of all, her absolute joy in being Gram to her 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren was unmatched.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Meridian Village in Glen Carbon, IL, with Chaplain Tony Boos, officiating.

Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Trenton, IL.
