Karen Ratulowski, age 77 of Highland, IL, passed away Monday, May 11, 2026, at her home in Highland, IL.
She was born on Wednesday, September 29, 1948, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Billy and Dorothy (nee McKibbin) Hecke.
On February 10, 1968, she married John Ratulowski, who passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2003.
Karen is survived by her children, John (Stacy) Ratulowski and Michael (Debbi) Ratulowski, brother, Bryan Hecke (s.o.-Linda Wilkinson); 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ratulowski, son, Mark D. Ratulowski, brother, Billy E. Hecke and parents, Billy D. and Dorothy (nee McKibbin) Hecke.
Karen wishes were to be cremated and no visitation or services.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, at a later date.
