Judy E. Hurt-Miller, age 82 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Highland, IL.

She was born on Tuesday, February 24, 1942, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Carl and Elvera (nee Klaus) Wilke. On Wednesday, August 31, 1994, she married Harold Eugene Miller at Highland, Illinois, who passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011.

She was also a member of Member of a Hummel Club, Discovery Family Church - Collinsville, IL.

Judy was born and raised in Highland and was a graduate from Highland High School in 1960. Judy was an accountant at General Tire for many years, then an accountant at 4-5-6 Company for over twenty years. Ultimately retired from H & R Block in Auburn, Illinois. Judy collected Hummel figurines and a wide variety of all types of bears. She enjoyed cross-stitching and quilting. From the looks of her book shelf, it showed she was an avid reader all of her life.

Mother - Elvera Florence Wilke, nee Klaus DOD 5/14/91
Husband - Harold Eugene Miller-DOD 6/29/11.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Memorial Service will be at 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Steven Gray, officiating.

Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL., Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11 AM.
