Jennifer M. Santel, age 34, of Breese, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024. She was born November 29, 1989 in Breese, a daughter of Richard "Rick" (Nancy) Santel of Trenton and Shelley, nee Peterson, Niewoehner of Breese.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her children, Tobias Moore of New Baden, Aurora Santel of Germantown, William Santel of Germantown, and Elijah Santel of Freeburg; siblings, Joe (Alicia) Santel of Germantown and Josh (Nicole) Santel of Freeburg; maternal grandparents, Glen and Laurel, nee Egley, Peterson of New Baden; step-siblings, Jackie and Shawn; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Vince and Sophie, nee Vosholler, Santel.

Jennifer dedicated her career to HSHS St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, where she worked in the dietary division. She found joy in the simplicity of outdoor activities, particularly hiking, and had a creative passion for crafting rings and jewelry. Above all, Jennifer cherished spending time with her children, creating lasting memories through play and adventure.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be left for her children (checks payable to Shelley Niewoehner) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5 ^th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
