Jeanne A. Belman, age 78, of Fairmont City, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Carlyle Healthcare Center. She was born August 25, 1946, in Belleville, a daughter of the late Malbern F. and Marcella (nee Herbig) Goedeke.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Belman, who died on November 11, 2010.

Jeanne is survived by her son, Eric (Toni) Michel; grandsons, Ethan and Owen Michel; brothers, Mike (Laura) Goedeke and Chuck "Kip" (Deb) Goedeke; a large extended family; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Throughout her life, Jeanne made her mark in multiple fields, including Respiratory Therapy and banking. She was a member of Holy Rosary in Fairmont City, reflecting her strong faith and commitment to her community. Jeanne had a zest for life, which was evident in her love of bus tour trips, during which she formed countless friendships and was always the life of the party.

In keeping with Jeanne's wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest with her husband at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville.

Memorials in memory of Jeanne may be made to the Carlyle Healthcare Center Activity Fund and will be received by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5 ^th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
