Imogene "Jean" C. Holtgrave, age 94 of Highland, IL, died Monday, April 28, 2025, at Breese Nursing Home in Breese, IL.

She was born on Sunday, April 26, 1931, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Edward and Elva (nee Carrillon) Petry.

On Tuesday, October 4, 1949, she married Arthur Gerhard Holtgrave at St. Paul Catholic Church, Highland, IL, who passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 1996.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She was also a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary # 5694 (life member) and St. Anne Altar Society.

Mrs. Imogene Holtgrave was born in Highland, IL and grew up and attended school at St. Jacob. She was a homemaker and an assembler at Basler Electric, retiring from Basler Electric after 42 years of service. She enjoyed baking, dancing, playing cards, and bingo. Spending time with family and friends, helping others and her faith were her highest priorities.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL and from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland, IL, with Fr. Pat G. Jakel, Pastor, St. Paul Catholic Church, officiating.

Interment will be at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland, IL.
