Ian Williams Fugetta and Alec James Fugetta, precious twin brothers and beloved sons of Andrew and Lindsay (nee McCray) Fugetta, were born and peacefully welcomed into the arms of Heaven on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Though their time on earth was far too brief, Ian Williams and Alec James were loved beyond measure from the very beginning. Their tiny lives brought an immeasurable amount of love to their proud parents and entire family.
In addition to their loving parents, they leave behind their maternal grandparents, Jeff (Susan) McCray of St. Rose, IL; paternal grandparents, Frank (Margaret) Fugetta of Kenner, LA; great-grandparents, Richard and Margaret (nee Williams) McCray; aunts and uncles, Mackenzie (Will) Green, Collin McCray, and Bradley (fiancée, Hannah Joseph) Fugetta; great-aunts and great-uncles, Gary (Jean) Tebbe, Terry (Tracey) Tebbe, Bill (Sherry) Tebbe, Scott (Marjorie) McCray, Mindy Baronne, Daniel Diaz, Madeline (Dave) Diaz Browning, Cindy (Dan) Nolan, and Terry (Cecelia) Fugetta; and many cousins and extended family.
Ian and Alec were preceded in death by their great-aunts, Cecile Diaz and twin sisters Donna and Darlene Tebbe, who passed away in infancy; great-uncle, Tony Baronne; and great-grandparents, Jim and Toots (nee Ribbing) Tebbe, David and Mary Agnes Diaz, and Frank and Ameron “Nona” Fugetta.
Although Ian and Alec's little lives were measured in moments, the love they inspired is immeasurable. They will forever be a part of their family's story, remembered as two precious blessings who were deeply loved, and will be dearly missed.
A private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Interment will take place at St. Rose Cemetery.
Memorials in their honor may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Lindsay McCray) and will be received by mail at Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th Street, Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
