Frances L. Brooks, age 87 of Alhambra, IL, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Alhambra Care Center in Alhambra, IL.

She was born on Sunday, March 15, 1936, in Madison, IN, the daughter of Thomas and Lula (nee Anderson) Brooks.

Frances was born in Madison, Indiana and she grew up there. Her family moved to St. Louis, MO in 2003; she moved to Alhambra, IL in 2013. She had lived with her mother and sister until moving to the care facility in Alhambra. Frances enjoyed watching wrestling, soap operas, and gospel singers on TV.

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.

Graveside service and interment will be at Springdale Cemetery in Madison, IN at a later date.
