Obituary

Dana D. McClenahan, age 71 of Marine, IL, died Friday, January 12, 2024, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

He was born on Saturday, April 12, 1952, in East Saint Louis, IL, the son of Donald and Doris (nee Emerson) McClenahan.

He married Virginia "Jenny" M. Black on March 14, 1981, who survives.

Mr. McClenahan was born at St. Mary's Hospital in East Saint Louis, IL. He grew up in Dupo, IL After high school, he worked for the Missouri Pacific Railroad. For a number of years he was a Legal Investigator for the law firm of C. Marshall Friedman in St. Louis, MO. In his retirement he enjoyed being a school bus driver for the Triad School District. Among his hobbies, he enjoyed working in his garage and talking about Hot Rods and Muscle Cars.
