Brandon K. "Chuck" Knobeloch, age 40, of Germantown, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital. He was born February 12, 1985, in Breese, a son of Keith and Melinda (nee Beckmann) Knobeloch of Germantown. Brandon was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and friend who touched the lives of all who knew him.

Brandon married Jen Detmer on November 5, 2011, in Carlyle and she survive s in Germantown. In addition to his parents and wife, Brandon is survived by his children, Olivia and Jack Knobeloch of Germantown; sister, Brianne (Colin) Kuhn of Germantown; nephews, Calvin and Camden Kuhn of Germantown; maternal grandmother, Jeanette (nee Maue) Beckmann of Germantown ; mother-in-law, Patricia ( nee Richter ) Holtgrave-Detmer of Breese; and sisters-in-law, Diane (Larry) Hempen, Barb Portugal, Elaine Holtgrave, Gerry Fehrmann, Phyllis (George) Marron, and Kara Holtgrave ; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews , and cousins .

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mic k and Luna (nee Wofford) Knobeloch and Ralph Beckmann; father-in-law, Henry Detmer; brothers-in-law, Daniel "Whitey" Holtgrave, Bob Holtgrave, Vern Holtgrave , and Kent Fehrmann; and cousin, Brett Foster.

A proud 2003 graduate of Mater Dei Catholic High School, Brandon went on to earn a degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2007. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.

Brandon found joy in life's simple pleasures—watching baseball, listening to music, taking golf cart rides with Livy , playing catch with Jack, hunting for morel mushrooms, traveling to other major league stadiums to watch the Cardinals play, listening to the Rizzuto Show each morning, and simply being with his children. His heart was as big as his love for his family, and that love extended to his cherished dogs, Roxy and Carl . Brandon's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy of laughter and empathy will continue to inspire us all. In h is final act of generosity, Brandon was able to donate his organs, giving the gift of life to others. His heart, liver, and kidneys are already with recipients across the country. The family takes great comfort in knowing that Brandon' s spirit will continue to touch others, even after h is passing.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown with Fr. Thomas Lugge and Fr. James Buerster concelebrating. Interment will follow at St. Boniface Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made t o an education fund for Brandon's children (checks payable to Jennifer Knobeloch) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5 th St. Breese, IL 62230 , who is serving the family.
