Blaise Edward Gage Nowak, age 21, of Trenton, passed away Monday, March 17, 2025. He was born October 10, 2003, in Belleville, a son of John and Lanette (nee Henley) Nowak of Trenton.

Blaise is survived by his loving parents; significant other, Bree Birdsong of Shiloh; siblings, Kyle (Jessica) Jakobitz of O'Fallon and Cody (Carla Catenazzo) Jakobitz of Troy; nieces, Scarlett and Lila Jakobitz; grandmother, Patricia (nee Lane) Henley of Hot Springs, AR; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Blaise was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Jean (nee Burke) Maynard and James E. Henley.

Blaise worked as a dedicated laborer and was a valued member of Faith Church in Fairview Heights, where he actively participated in the young adults' group. He had a deep love for animals, especially cats and dogs, which led him to volunteer at the Highland Humane Society. His passions extended to high-end exotic cars, collecting Nike shoes, and, in his younger years, amassing an impressive collection of over seventy-five fans. A true jack of all trades, Blaise loved people, never met a stranger and was always eager to lend a helping hand.

He found joy in golfing, listening to music, hiking, and cave explorations—always seeking adventure and embracing life's experiences with enthusiasm.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Blaise's life will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Church in Fairview Heights (50 Ludwig Dr, Fairview Heights, IL 62208), officiated by Pastor Kasper Ball.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Faith Church in Fairview Heights.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials are suggested to Metro East Humane Society or Guardian Angels Cat Rescue in Hot Springs, AR and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N 5 ^th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
