A 1957 graduate of Edwardsville High School, Betty went on to graduate from Beauty School and successfully owned and operated Betty’s Beauty Shop. Alongside running her business, she embraced the hard work and dedication of being a farmer's wife and later enjoyed working as a Hallmark Card Stocker.
A devoted member of Eden United Church of Christ, Betty was a woman of deep faith and community. She kept a busy, creative life and enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, baking, sewing, and playing cards. Above all, Betty loved being around her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were her absolute pride and joy.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bud. Together, they shared a beautiful life and loved nothing more than lighting up the dance floor together to the Polka and the Jitterbug. Her warm heart and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed.
