Anne M. McMullen, age 45, of Grantie City, and formerly of Summerfield, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 20, 2024, at her home. She was born April 13, 1979, in Rome, NY, the beloved daughter of Michael R. and Debra M. (nee Ver Bruggen) McMullen of Summerfield.

In addition to her parents, Anne is survived by her loving daughters, Danielle "Danny" (Jason Panchot, Sr.) McMullen of Caseyville, Desiray "Sassy" McMullen of Grantie City, and Jacqulyn "Jackie" Steele of Collinsville; grandson, Jason "JJ" Panchot, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Donna Ineguez (nee Metoxen) of Green Bay, WI; paternal grandmother, Mary McMullen (nee Kudrna) of Hartford, WI; siblings, Christopher (Carla) McMullen of Freeburg, Mary (Scott) Ratermann of Breese, Sarah White of Belleville, Rebecca (Lucas) Christ of Lebanon, Kathleen McMullen of Trenton, Emily McMullen of Alhambra, and Margaret McMullen of Alhambra; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Anne was preceded in death by her brother, Adam McMullen; maternal grandfather, Francis Ver Bruggen; and paternal grandfather, Raymond McMullen.

A 1997 graduate of Lebanon High School, Anne currently worked as a cashier at Curly's Corner Market in Granite City. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters at the movie theater, loved reading, cooking, and experimenting with makeup and fashion. Anne had a passion for collecting various items and enjoyed music and concerts, but her greatest joy was being with her family.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon with Fr. Paul Wienhoff presiding. Interment will be Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Summerfield Cemetery in Summerfield.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton and again Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon .

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, please make memorials to an Education Fund for Anne's children (checks payable to Danielle McMullen) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
