Angela P. Wilke, nee Schrage, age 62, of St. Rose, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at her home.

She was born October 7, 1961 in Breese, a daughter of the late William and Verena, nee Wiegmann, Schrage.  She married Timothy Wilke on November 27, 1981 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Greenville and he survived in St. Rose.

In addition to her husband, Angela is survived by her children, Kim (Cory) Schneider, Daniel (Tiffany) Wilke, and Casey (Craig) Benhoff; grandchildren, Gavin Schneider, Rylan Schneider, Warren Benhoff, Andrew Benhoff, and was expecting the arrival of baby boy Wilke in December; siblings, William "Billy" (friend, Diane Jones) Schrage, Kathy (Kent) Johnson, Roger (Jan) Schrage, Elaine (Dan) Zitta, and Margie (William "Bill") Mills; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Zita (Bill) Reeves, Rosanne (Tony) Wellen, Robert (Debbie) Wilke, Henry (Teresa) Wilke, and Louella (Gary) Hollenkamp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Angela was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Francis and Bertha, nee Grapperhaus, Wilke.

Angela was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality and the St. Rose Development Club.  Angie worked alongside Tim on the Wilke Family Farm, moving equipment, cleaning out bins, and going on parts runs.  She was an accomplished seamstress who created beautiful sewing projects for countless friends and family members.  She also enjoyed flower arranging, quilting, crochet, and tending to her flower beds, but her favorite pastime was spending time with loved ones and cuddling with her grandkids.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in St. Rose with Fr. Edward Schaeffer presiding.  A private interment will follow the Mass.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in St. Rose.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the St. Rose School or to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Timothy Wilke) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
