Andy T. Kampwerth, age 83, of Bartelso, peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Breese Nursing Home. He was born April 25, 1940, in Breese, the beloved son of the late Henry and Rose Mary Kampwerth (nee Rohr).

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry (Johanna), Richard, Marcel, David (Mary), and Simon Kampwerth.

Andy is survived by his sisters-in-law, Christine Kampwerth of Trenton and Barbara Kampwerth of Carlyle; his cherished friends and adopted family, Brian (Samantha) Kluemke of Bartelso, and their sons Dylan, Logan, and Gavan "aka Kevin"; as well as nieces and nephews.

Andy's life revolved around farming, a passion he carried from his upbringing on the family farm to his work at Four-Beck Dairy, Inc. in Bartelso. He was a dedicated member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso and the Clinton County Farm Bureau. Andy's love for farming extended to his fondness for International Tractors and collecting toy International Tractors, hobbies that brought him immense joy throughout his life.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso with Fr. Thomas Lugge presiding. Interment will follow at St. Cecilia Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to St. Cecilia Catholic Church and will be received at the mass or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, PO Box 117, Germantown, IL  62245, who is serving the family.
