Alexis married the love of her life, Adrian Tehandon, on December 23, 2020, in Carlyle, and he survives in St. Rose. In addition to her husband, Alexis is survived by her beloved daughters, Scarlette and Isabella Tehandon; father and stepmother, Wayne (Angela) Biggs of Boulder; brother, Luke Biggs of Carlyle; grandparents, Debra Wells of Carlyle and Wayne Biggs of Collinsville; mother-in-law, Lou Wood of St. Rose; brother-in-law, Jorge Tehandon of Breese; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alexis was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Bernardo Tehandon; and grandparents-in-law, Salvador Tehandon Sr. and Maria Concepcion Servin-Guardian, and Byford and Ruth Wood.
Alexis was a graduate of Carlyle High School and continued her education, earning an associate’s degree. With a caring heart and a desire to help others, she became a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked at Breese Nursing Home, where she dedicated herself to caring for those in need.
Alexis had a love for life and enjoyed making memories with the people who meant the most to her. She was a proud supporter of Hooterfest in Beckemeyer and enthusiastically participated in its events, always enjoying the fun and friendships it brought. She treasured spending time with her family and friends, sharing laughter, making memories, and simply being together.
Above all, Alexis's greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother. She absolutely adored her daughters, Scarlette and Isabella, who were the center of her world and brought her immeasurable happiness.
