Colleen M. Wilkinson, nee Detmer, 50, of Breese, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at her residence. 

Mrs. Wilkinson was born December 30, 1960 in Breese to Donald and Mary Ellen (Ratermann) Detmer; her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Breese. 

She married Curt Wilkinson on January 23, 1982 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and he survives in Breese. 

Also surviving is a daughter, Jessica (Steven, Jr.) Tobin of Shawnee, KS and Sean (Jennifer) Wilkinson of Breese; 3 grandchildren, Annabelle and Aidan Tobin and Chloe Wilkinson; a brother, Neil (Amanda) Detmer of Breese; sisters, Anita (Ward) Johnson of Walnut Creek, CA, Joyce (Dean) Kniepmann of New Baden, Denise (Dennis) Luitjohan of Albers, and Lisa (Sam) Skinner of San Marcos, CA; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Suzanne (Edward, Jr.) Hilbert of Highland; and brothers-in-law and a sisters-in-law, Dirk Wilkinson of Pocahontas, Scott (JoAnne) Hilbert of Carlyle, and Lisa (Jody) Johnson of Highland. 

Colleen worked as an insurance agent at Steve Klostermann State Farm Insurance Company in Breese. 

She was a member of St. Dominic Church and Altar in Breese 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. 

Visitation will be Monday, March 7, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 9:00-10:45 AM at Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
