Eleanor M Trost (Nee Alberternst) 93 of New Baden died Thursday December 1, 2011 at Country Side Manor in Aviston. 

She was born October 18, 1918 in St. Rose to Joseph and Elizabeth (Henrichs) Alberternst: they preceded her in death. 

She married Joseph Trost November 29, 1946 at St. Mary Church, Trenton and he preceded her in death June 21, 1988. 

Also preceded in death by brothers Elmer and Joseph Alberternst, sisters Irene Crepps, Stella Korte, Evelyn Shoup, Mary Grimes-Tate. Sisters-in-law Luetta Alberternst, Frances Schmdt, Celeste Luechtefeld, Aurea Busken. Brothers-in-law Cecil Lewis, William Crepps, Raymond Korte, Edmond Shoup, Charles, Grimes, John Tate, William Schmdt, Bernard Trost, Linus Luechtefeld, Ambrose Trost, Ferdinand Trost, Bernard Flerlage, Frank Trost. 

Surviving is a sister Lucille Lewis of Albers 

Sisters-in-law Joan Heizer, Rose Marie Trost, Lois Trost, Mary Flerlage. 

Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews 

She was a homemaker 

Member of St. George Catholic Church in New Baden, Trenton VFW Auxiliary post 7983 

Funeral mass Tuesday December 6 at 11:00 am at St. George Catholic Church, New Baden with Fr. Gene Neff officiating. Interment St. Barbara Cemetery, Okawville. 

Visitation Tuesday December 6 from 10 to 11 am at St. George Catholic Church in New Baden 

Trenton VFW Auxiliary will hold service at 10:30 am at the church. 

Memorials can be made to St. George Church and will be received through Moss Funeral Home, Trenton who is handling the arrangements.
