Alvina C. Thole 99 of Breese died Friday June 17, 2011 at Breese Nursing Home. 

She was born February 20, 1912 in Breese to Henry and Catherine (Kuenke) Kreke: they preceded her in death. 

She married Gregory Thole April 12, 1932 at St. Dominic Church in Breese and he preceded her in death January 1, 2000. 

Also preceded in death by a daughter Marian Grawe, son-in-law Frank Grawe, granddaughter Cynthia Clanton, great grandson Caleb Clanton, brother Arnold Kreke Sr., a sister Henrietta Huster brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Georgina Kreke, Richard Huster, John Thole, William Thole, Vincent Thole, Sr. Regina Thole Third order of St. Francis, Bertha Thole.  

Surviving is a daughter JoAnn Thole of Breese.  

Grandchildren Steve (Karen) Grawe of Hoffman, Gale (Dan) Hollenkamp of Carlyle, Tina (Dave) Johnson of Centralia.  

Great grandchildren Lynn (Freddie) Baker, Danny (Emily) Hollenkamp, Jason and Christopher Grawe, Crystal Johnson. 

Step great grandchildren Erica (Justin) Atwood, Josh Logan. 

Great great grandchildren, Landon and Dalton Baker, Keaton Grawe, Brayden Johnson. 

Step great great grandchild Chloe Logan.  

Sisters-in-law Martha Thole of St. Rose, Marie Thole of Highland.

Alvina was a member of St. Dominic Church and Altar sodality in Breese and Clinton Count y Home extension.  

She retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Highland Housekeeping Dept. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday June 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at St. Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating Interment St. Dominic St. Augustine Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Monday June 20 from 5 to 8 PM and Tuesday June 21 from 9 to 10:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
