Roger A. Schwierjohn, 52 of Breese, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

He was born February 25, 1958 in Highland, IL to Joseph F. and Alvina (Rehkemper) Schwierjohn; they preceded him in death. 

Also preceded in death by his grandparents, uncles, and aunts. 

Surviving are his sisters, Dolores (Jerome) Voss of Aviston, Marie (Dennis “Red”) Mensing of Breese, Dorothy (Dennis) Revermann of Breese, and Marge (Ron) Range of Troy; brothers, Joseph (Nancy) Schwierjohn of Highland and Rich (special friend Linda Bruce) Schwierjohn of Pocahontas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Roger worked in assembly at the Community Link in Breese and was a member of St. Dominic Church in Breese and the Breese Knights of Columbus Council 2869.  He was an avid Mater Dei High School fan where he was the #1 ticket sales for the Fathers and Friends Club.  He enjoyed music, especially polka and Elvis.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Pierron with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pierron. 

Visitation will be Sunday, October 10, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese and again on Monday, October 11, 2010 from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church in Pierron. 

Memorials can be made to the 555 Cilla in Breese or to Mater Dei High School and will be received at the funeral home.
