Charles J. “Charlie” Roth, 69, of Trenton, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mr. Roth was born March 7, 1941 in Belleville to Dominic and Anna (Mueth) Roth; they preceded him in death. 

Also preceded in death by daughters, Deann Roth and Angela Roth; and a brother, Robert Roth. 

He married Margaret “Margie” Becker on August 3, 1966 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer; she survives in Trenton. 

Also surviving are his children, Donna Roth of Trenton, Karen (Mike) Kampwerth of Hoffmann, Brian Roth of Trenton, Brenda Roth of Trenton, Janice (Steven) Furman of Lebanon, Duane Roth of Swansea, Kevin (Amanda) Roth of Trenton, and Brent Roth of Trenton. 

8 Grandchildren-Cody Roth, Colin Vahlkamp, Deidre Huelsmann, Luke Kampwerth, Baby Kampwerth, Brett Roth, Madeline Roth, and Garrett Roth and a great-grandchild, Rylan Roth. 

A sister, Margaret (Stanley) Schilling of St. Clair, MO and a sister-in-law, Karen Roth of Oregon. 

Charlie was a dairy farmer and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton, Trenton Knights of Columbus, Dairy Farmers of America, and was a veteran of the Illinois Army Reserves serving 6 years. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September, 11, 2010 at 11:00 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Trenton with Fr. Gene Kreher officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to the Roth Family and will be received through the Moss Funeral Home who is handling the arrangements.
