Raymond B. “Ray” Pingsterhaus 89 of Beckemeyer died Sunday December 26, 2010 at Carlyle Health Care Center. 

He was born March 15, 1921 in Germantown, to Henry and Louisa (Schleper) Pingsterhaus: they preceded him in death 

Also preceded in death by brothers Quinton and Alvin Pingsterhaus, sisters Loretta Pingsterhaus and Cecilia Buss, brothers-in-law Wilfred Emig, Marcellus Ottensmeier, and Gregory Buss. 

He married Imelda Boeser October 19, 1948 at St. Paul Church, Highland, IL and she survives in Beckemeyer. 

Also Surviving are his children Anthony “Tony” (Kathy) Pingsterhaus of Beckemeyer, Mary Lou (Gervase) Hemker of Germantown, Irene (Lavern) Jansen of Damiansville, Evelina “Evy” (Augie) Wildhaber of Bartelso, Lavern “Vern” (Kathy) Pingsterhaus of  Carlyle, Juliana “Julie” (Paul “Pete”) Fuehne of Bartelso 

13 grandchildren 22 great grandchildren 

A brother Ralph Pingsterhaus of Breese 

Sisters Regina Emig of Bartelso, Rosina (George) Hollenkamp of Aviston, Rita Ottensmeier of Trenton 

Ray retired from farming. 

Member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer, Clinton County Farm Bureau Funeral  

Mass of Christian burial  Wednesday December 29, 2010 at 10:00 am St. Anthony Catholic Church in Beckemeyer with Fr. Chuck Tuttle, Fr. George Mauck and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating. Interment St. Anthony Cemetery 

Visitation will be Tuesday December 28 from 4 to 8 PM and Wednesday December 29 from 8 to 9:30 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese 

Memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association and will be received at the funeral home.
