John H. “Jack” Peltes, 83 of Breese, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 at his residence. 

Mr. Peltes was born August 4, 1927 in Breese to Theodore and Lucille (Perkes) Peltes; they preceded him in death. 

He married Juanita Essenpreis in Breese; she preceded him in death.   

He married Patricia Allison-Miller on February 4, 1993 in Camdenton, MO; she survives in Breese. 

Also surviving are his children, Kay Lue Buscher of Breese, Jaclyn (Keith) Pickens and Shane (Wendy) Peltes all of Carlyle; step-children, Don (Samantha) Miller of Franklin, TX and Chuck (Joy) Miller of Camdenton, MO; 4 Grandchildren, Gina (Bart) Blean, Byron Buscher, Macie and Ethan Peltes; 6 Step-Grandchildren, Rob (Maggie) Pickens, Pisko Pickens, Gretchen (Tad) Smith, Ashley, Morgan, and Houston Miller; 5 Great-Grandchildren, Mickinley, Brady, Bryar, and Piper Blean and Melina Pickens; and a sister, Agatha “Petie” Rux of Breese. 

In addition to his parents and first wife, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Karl Peltes; a brother-in-law, Vincent Rux; and a nephew, Vincent Karl Rux. 

Jack owned, operated, and retired as a salesman from  J & N Distributing in Breese. 

He was a member of St. Dominic Church and the Moose Lodge in Camdenton, MO and was a United States Army Veteran 

Memorial service will be Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Deacon Bob Lippert officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese. 

Visitation will be Monday, November 29, 2010 from 9:00-11:00 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.  

Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association and will be received at the funeral home.
