Ruth Ann Miesner, nee Wolf, 84, of Breese, died Friday, October 14, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mrs. Miesner was born August 30, 1927 in Breese to Joseph and Catherine (Merscher) Wolf; they preceded her in death. 

She married Carl Miesner on August 20, 1960; he preceded her in death on November 12, 1962. 

Surviving is a daughter, Mary “Kay” Miesner of Breese; a niece, Teri Ward of Peoria; and a nephew, Larry Smith of St. Louis. 

Ruth worked for the Clinton County Service Company, Mioux Florist and Venhaus Grocery Store in Breese and she retired as a bookkeeper from Deien Chevrolet in Breese and Trenton.   

She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Fr. Chuck Tuttle, Fr. Patrick Peter, and Deacon Bob Lippert officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Carlyle. 

Visitation will be Sunday, October 16, 2011 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to Mater Dei High School (For a new Keyboard in the Chapel) or donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
