Floyd L. McGinn, Jr., 59 of Trenton, died Thursday, June 2, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland. 

Mr. McGinn was born November 9, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA to Esther (Dieffenbach) and Floyd McGinn, Sr.; they preceded him in death. 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Griesbaum; a brother, Mark McGinn; and brothers-in-law, Michael Griesbaum and Ernest Wetherford. 

He married Nancy Kiefer on March 27, 1992 in New Baden and she survives in Trenton. 

Also surviving are his children, Morton (friend Misty) McGinn of Elk City, OK, David (Darlene) McGinn of Fulton, MO, Julie (fiancé Karl Wilson) Renth of New Baden, and Susan Ebers of Steeleville, IL; 14 Grandchildren, Joshua (Samantha) Renth, Jeremy (friend Katelyn) Renth, Jessica Renth, Jenna Renth, Calen Lalis, Megan Lalis, Chase Ebers, Nicholas Ebers, Amanda Ebers, Keysha McGinn, Fancy Jones, Floyd McGinn III, Tristan McGinn, and Devin McGinn; 1 Great-Granddaughter, Payton Renth; sisters, Dottie Wetherford of Marion, and Diane (Steve) Ziembecki of Highland, IN; and a special nephew and niece, Ron and Crissy Wagner of Kempner, TX. 

Floyd was a supervisor and line leader at the Rock-Tenn Corporation in Edwardsville. 

He was a member of West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton where he was head of the Deacons and the Town and Country Gun Club in Maryville.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM at West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton with Rev. Michael May officiating.  Interment will follow in Green Mount Cemetery, New Baden. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton and again on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 9:00-10:00 AM at West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to the West Gate Baptist Church Building Fund or to the Cornerstone Ministries in Kaka mega, Kenya.
