Clarence G. “Bud” Maue, 83, of
Breese died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in
Breese.
He was born March 24, 1927 in Breese
to Phillip and Anna (Robben) Maue: they preceded him in death.
He married Marie Brunsmann-Hoelscher-Krebs
June 6, 1957 and she preceded him in death June 13, 2009.
Also preceded in death by brothers
Arthur, Edward, and Alvin Maue. A sister Leona Dierkes,
brothers-in-law George Dierkes, Leland Johnson and Dick Brand.
Surviving are sons Doug (Theresa)
Maue, Denver (Sharon)
Hoelscher, Jack Krebs all of Breese.
6 grandchildren Jason (friend Ashley
Young) Maue, Greg Maue, Michelle (Dennis) Rakers, Stacey (Patrick)
Garrett, Derek (Kristy) Hoelscher, Lindsey (Brett) Spalding.
4 great grandchildren Brady and
Sheldyn Rakers, Casey and Ty Garrett.

Dorothy Johnson of Breese.
Sisters-in-law Clara Maue of Breese,
Leona Maue of St. Louis, JoAnn Mann of Peoria.
Bud owned and operated Breese Speed
wash, and served as Clinton County Coroner 1968 to 1972.
Member of St. Dominic Church and
Men’s Sodality, Breese Knights of Columbus council 2869, charter
member of the 4th degree Bishop Althoff Assembly, Breese
American Legion Post 252, Carlyle VFW post 3523 and Breese Senior
Citizens.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial
will be Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 11:00 am
at St. Dominic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.
Interment St. Dominic St. Augustine Cemetery. Military honors will
be accorded by the Carlyle VFW.
Visitation will be Monday February
28 from 4 to 9 PM and Tuesday March 1 from 9 to 10:45 am
at Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to St. Dominic
Church or Mater Dei High school and will be received at the funeral
home.
Breese American Legion will hold
services Monday at 7 pm, Breese Knights of Columbus at 7:30 PM
followed by the 4th degree Bishop Althoff Assembly
services all at the funeral home. |
