Joel W. Lindley, 63, of Trenton, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. 

Mr. Lindley was born October 11, 1948 in Gideon, MO to John and Linnie “Joyce” (Walls) Lindley; his father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Jackson, TN. 

He married Debbie Field in1998 at Highland, IL and she survives in Trenton. 

Also surviving are his children, Linda (David) McAvoy of Fenton, MO, Lisa Durzo, Bruce (Shannah) Burton all of Belleville, Leanna (David) Kapp of Trenton, Jennifer (Allen) Kujawa of Granite City, and Thomas Burton of Collinsville; 10 grandchildren; and a brother, Gary Lindley of Carlyle. 

In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Lindley; and brothers, Ronnie and Donnie Lindley, and Mike Lindley. 

Joel was a truck driver for EF Express in Highland and he enjoyed fishing and leather work.

In keeping with his wishes, his body was donated to Washington University School of Medicine and there will be no services. 

Memorials can be made to Clinton County Relay for Life and will be received through Moss Funeral Home in Trenton who is in charge of the arrangements.
