Mark D. Lappe, 30 of Germantown and formerly of Breese, died Friday, August 19, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese. 

He was born September 26, 1980 in Belleville to Donald and Sherlyn (Mannhard) Lappe; they survive in Breese. 

Also surviving are his brothers, Tim (Christie) Lappe and Craig (special friend Pattie Dutchman) Lappe all of Aviston; a niece Lily Lappe; maternal grandmother, Alvera (Rakers) Mannhard of Trenton; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

He was preceded in death his maternal grandfather, Maurice Mannhard and his paternal grandparents, Arthur and Margaret (Almassey) Lappe. 

Mark worked in Ground Maintenance for Challenge at Scott Air Force Base. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Breese with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Dominic/St. Augustine Cemetery, Breese. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 8:00-9:30 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home.
