Mildred C. “Millie” Kuper 80 of Breese died Thursday June 23, 2011 at Breese Nursing Home. 

She was born November 8, 1930 in Pierron to Oscar and Elizabeth (Landmann) Frey: they preceded her in death. 

She married Jerome Kuper January 21, 1959 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland and he preceded her in death December 3, 2003. 

Also preceded in death by brothers Herbert, Reuben, Richard and Marcus Frey, brothers-in-law Raymond Joseph and Leonard Kuper, sister-in-law Beatrice Niehenke. 

Surviving are sons Edward (Marilyn) Kuper of Maryland Heights, MO, David (Patty) Kuper of Brownsburg, IN, Charles “Chuck” (Teresa) Kuper of Foristell, MO, Brian Kuper of Breese. 11 grandchildren Sarah, Mary, Hannah, Leah, Jason, Nathan, Matthew Isabella Kuper, Jacob, Zachary Sophia Halloran. 

A brother Melvin Frey of St. Jacob. 

Millie was a homemaker, and previously worked as a cook at Hardees in Breese and Breese Nursing Home. 

Member of St. Dominic Church and Altar Sodality, Breese American Legion Post 252 Auxiliary, Catholic Holy Family Society. 

Mass of Christian burial will be Monday June 27, at 10:00 am at St. Dominic Church with Fr. Patrick Peter officiating. Interment St. Dominic-St. Augustine Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Sunday June 26 from 4 to 8 PM and Monday June 27 from 8 to 9:45 am at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

The Breese American Legion Auxiliary will hold services Sunday at 7 PM at the funeral home. 

Memorials can be made to St. Dominic Church or Alzheimer’s Association and will be received at the funeral home.
