Barbara "Barb" J. Kline, nee Rizer, 72, of Trenton, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville. 

She was born May 18, 1938 in Hackensack, NJ to Clarence and Alice (Clark) Rizer; they preceded her in death. 

She married Eugene “Gene” Kline on December 9, 1960 in Edwardsville, IL; he preceded her in death on February 17, 2004. 

Also preceded in death by a sister, Alice Splitstone, and a brother, Clarence Rizer. 

Surviving are her daughters, Wendy (Rich) McIntyre of Trenton and Trudy (Chuck Kezirian) Kline of Shiloh; 2 granddaughters, Kelsey and Caitlan McIntyre; a sister, Doris (Eddie) Riley of Plainfield, CT; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Viola (Walter) Butler of New Douglas, Dorothy Watson of Hardy, Arkansas, and Albert Kline of Bunker Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Barb was a United States Air Force Veteran, retired from Jim’s Formal Wear in Trenton, and was a member of St. John Church. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Linda Coulson officiating.  Interment will follow in Trenton Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Thursday, April 14, 2011 from 9:00-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be received at the funeral home
