Gary G. Kleber, 56 of Carlyle, died
Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Kleber was born April 10, 1955
in Breese to Anthony “Corky” Kleber and Mildred “Sis” (Taylor)
Lampe; his father survives in Carlyle and his mother along with his
step-father, Dave Lampe survives in Germantown.
He married Kerry Powell on September
16, 1972 in Carlyle; she preceded him in death on July 11, 2010.
Also preceded in death by his
step-mother, Marie Kleber and his mother-in-law, Martha Hoerchler.
In addition to his parents, he is
also survived by a son, Eli (Jennifer Clark) Kleber of Carlyle;
sisters, Patsy Ronan and Karen (Bill) Hummel all of Carlyle; his
father-in-law, Richard “Dick” Powell of
Kentucky;
and a brother-in-law, Bruce Powell of Indiana.
Gary formerly worked at Murray
Center in Centralia as a
fireman. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #79 in Carlyle and
was the Past President of the United Mine Workers of America Local
2295 and Rod and Gun Fishing Club in Breese.
He was an avid outdoorsman and was
known as one of the best deer hunters in the county.
Memorial services will be Friday,
June 17, 2011 at 7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with
Rev. Lisa Hart officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, June 17,
2011 from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese.
Memorials can be made to the donor’s
choice and will be received at the funeral home. |
