Bertram V. “Bert” Jones Jr., 76, of Trenton, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Breese Nursing Home. 

He was born December 23, 1934 in Colorado Springs CO to Bertram and Beatrice (Wagner) Jones Sr.: they preceded him in death. 

He married Marilyn Kenney May 28, 1961 in Tiskilwa, IL and she preceded him in death October 10, 2008. 

Also preceded in death by sisters Marion, Betty, Ella and Kate, a brother-in-law Donald Kenney. 

Surviving are his sons Robert Jones of Tiskilwa, Charles Jones of Trenton, Steve (Sharon) Jones of Trenton. 

4 grandchildren Kenney, Janelle, Randall and Samantha. 

A brother-in-law Bob Kenney of Tiskilwa 

Sisters-in-law Helen Kenney of Tiskilwa, Janice (Jerry) Stewart of Las Vegas NV. 

Bert was retired teacher from Wesclin Jr. and Sr. High School where he taught science and chemistry, calculus and advanced math. 

Member of Trenton ESDA and Illinois retired Teachers Association. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday October 23 from 4 to 9 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Burial will be in Tiskilwa at a later date. 

Memorials can be made to Wesclin Association and will be received at the funeral home.
