Josephine F. Husmann, nee Beckmann, 97, of Germantown died Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Breese Nursing Home. 

She was born March 14, 1913 in Germantown to Herman and Frances (Schulte) Beckmann: they preceded her in death. 

She married Albin Husmann February 19, 1935 at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and he preceded her in death November 18, 1981. 

Also preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Husmann; sons, Lavern and Gerald Husmann; and a brother, Vincent Beckmann. 

Surviving are her children, Patricia (Richard) Frerker of Germantown, Ralph Husmann of Germantown, Judith (James) Poettker of Germantown. 

11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren 

Josephine was a homemaker, avid quilter and card player. 

Member of St. Boniface Church and Altar Sodality in Germantown. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 am with Fr. James Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 17 from 4 to 8 and Friday March 18 from 9 to 10:45 am at  the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. 

Memorials can be made to St. Boniface Church or St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry and will be received at the funeral home.
