Leona Hoffmann 96 of Trenton died Sunday January 3, 2010 at Mar-Ka Nursing Home in Mascoutah.

She was born March 2, 1913 in Shattuc to George and Otillia (Speiser) Trippel: they preceded her in death. 

She married Max Hoffmann November 15, 1945 in Belleville and he preceded her in death October 28, 2005. 

Also preceded in death by a brother Robert Trippel, a sister Evelyn Reeble.

Surviving is a sister Catherine Reeble of Mascoutah. 

Sister-in-law Clara Ballard of New Baden. 

Numerous nieces and nephews. 

Leona was a homemaker and member of St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton. 

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton with Rev. Linzy Collins Jr. officiating. Interment Trenton Cemetery. 

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 am at the church in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to St. John United Church of Christ in Trenton and will be received through the funeral home.
