Nettie J. Hawn, 70, of Wentzville, MO and formerly of Trenton, IL died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at her residence. 

Mrs. Hawn was born June 18, 1941 in Konah, KY to Cuba (Hammonds) and George York; she was raised by her grandparents, Wesley and Nettie Hammonds and they all preceded her in death. 

She married Roney D. Hawn on September 28, 1988 in St. Louis, MO; he preceded her in death on September 25, 1999. 

Also preceded in death by a son, Richard Barker; brothers, Tommy Niece and Jackie Flynn; a sister, Sandra Flynn; and a sister-in-law, Linda Flynn. 

Surviving are her children, Jeff Barker of St. Charles, MO, David (Theresa) Barker of Maryland Heights, MO, Paul (Cheryl) Barker of Wentzville, MO, and Paula Barker of Trenton; 7 Grandchildren & 9 Great-Grandchildren; step-children, Lisa Green & Craig Hawn of Fredericktown, MO; 2 step-grandchildren & 2 step-great-grandchildren; sisters & brothers, Donna (Mike) Couples of Greenfield, IN, Tammy (Jeff) Green of Greenfield, IN, Evadine (Richard) Martin of Carbon, KY, Tricia (Albert) Jones of Uconn, OK, Ronald Niece of Kentucky, Ed (Cheryl) Flynn of St. Louis, MO, James (Susie) Flynn of Blackey, KY, Hoyd Flynn of Ball Ground, GA, Sherry Sexton of Whitesburg, KY, Allen Flynn of Georgetown, KY, and Cheryl (Ivan) Blair of Blackey, KY; and a sister-in-law, Elaine Flynn of Cleveland, OH. 

Nettie retired from the Dial Corporation in St. Louis, MO as a forklift operator and she was a member of West Gate Baptist Church in Trenton. 

Funeral Services will be Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton with Rev. Michael May officiating.  Interment will be at a later date. 

Visitation will be Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to Westgate Baptist Church and will be received at the funeral home.
