Ruth C. Haselhorst, nee Klostermann, 76, of Trenton died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Faith Countryside in Highland. 

She was born December 15, 1934 in Trenton to Bernard and Regina (Schrage) Klostermann: they preceded her in death 

Also preceded in death by a brother, Richard Klostermann. 

She married Herman Haselhorst September 5, 1955 at St. Mary Church in Trenton and he survives. 

Also surviving are her children, Cindi (Brad) Weathers of Nashville, Gail (Kevin) Kellermann of O’Fallon, Jeff (Arleen) Haselhorst of Noblesville, IN, and Mark (Melissa) Haselhorst of Gulf Breeze, FL. 

9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren 

Brothers Paul (Lorraine “Bunny”) Klostermann of Chesterfield, MO and Frank (Shirley) Klostermann of Collinsville. 

Ruth retired from Scott Air Force Base, was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant, and was an Assistant Librarian at the Trenton Public Library. 

Member of St. Mary Church and Altar Sodality, Trenton VFW Auxiliary, St. Joseph’s Hospital Auxiliary in Breese,  co-founder of the Girl Scouts in Trenton, and she was an avid quilter. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 29, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church in Trenton with Fr. Vincent Haselhorst officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Thursday, April 28 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday, April 29 from 8:00-9:45 AM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Trenton VFW Auxiliary will hold services Thursday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. 

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, St. Mary’s Church, or to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Lights for Scholarship and will be received at the funeral home.
