Hugh M “Junior” Gish 81 of Summerfield died Friday September 24, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. 

He was born March 30, 1929 in Anthostion KY to Hugh M. and Pauline (Moorehead) Gish Sr.: they preceded him in death. 

He married Sharon Tash May 25, 1974 in Summerfield and she preceded him in death April 4, 2004. 

Also preceded in death by brothers Carl and David Gish. 

Survving are his children Clalasha Gish of Plainfield NJ, Donald Bowman of New Baden, Sheryl (Robert) Schwahn of New Baden, Terry Gish of O’Fallon 

7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren 

Step children Michael Bowling of Aviston, Darby Skibinski of Centralia, DeAnn (Mike) Rice of O’Fallon, MO 

3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren. 

Brother Wayne (Laura) Gish of Sorento. 

Junior was retired truck driver with Roadway Express. Retired Volunteer Fireman of the Summerfield Fire Department and an avid boater 

Member of Teamsters Local 50 of Belleville 

Memorial Service Monday September 27, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.

Interment Tuesday September 28, 20120 at 9:00 am at Summerfield Cemetery. 

Visitation will be Monday September 27 from 4 to 7 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. 

Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society and will be received at the funeral home
