James J. “Jim” Eversgerd, 63, of
Germantown, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 in Beckemeyer,
IL.
Mr. Eversgerd was born June 6, 1947
in St. Louis,
MO to Erma (Renschen)
Eversgerd-Gallatin and Christopher Eversgerd; his father preceded
him in death and his mother survives in Germantown.
Also surviving are sisters, Darlene
(Mark) Lohman of Bartelso and Linda (Rodney) Lohman of Germantown;
brothers, Duane (Kathleen) Eversgerd of Beckemeyer, Donald “Dino”
Eversgerd of Germantown, and Larry (Angela) Eversgerd of Germantown;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was
also preceded in death by brothers, Marlin Eversgerd and Norman
Eversgerd.
He formerly worked at the Germantown
IGA and Breese Journal, and was a veteran of the United States Army.
Jim was a member of St. Boniface
Church, Germantown American Legion Post 325, Vietnam Veterans
Chapter 269 of Clinton County, and grew up as a Boy Scout and proud
Eagle Scout.
A graveside memorial service will be
held Thursday, April 14, 2011 at 4:00 PM at St. Boniface Cemetery in
Germantown
with Fr. James Buerster officiating.
Memorials can be made to the
Germantown American Legion and will be received through Moss Funeral
Home in Germantown. |
