Dorothy E. “Dot” Dumstorff, nee Nordhaus, 74, of Breese, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at her residence. 

Mrs. Dumstorff was born June 13, 1936 in Germantown TWP to Joseph and Irene (Mueller) Nordhaus; they preceded her in death. 

She married Francis “Rex” Dumstorff on May 15, 1956 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Carlyle; he preceded her in death on November 27, 2004. 

Also preceded in death by brothers, Joseph “Sep” Nordhaus and Robert Nordhaus. 

Surviving are her children, Michael Dumstorff of Highland, James (Kathy) Dumstorff of Highland, Juanita (Rich) Geiger of St. Rose, Mark Dumstorff of Norfolk, VA, Jeffrey Dumstorff of Germantown, and Lisa (Lyle) Lammers of Beckemeyer; 11 Grandchildren; a brother, Leroy “Bucky” (Caroline) Nordhaus of St. Libory; and a sister-in-law, Diane Nordhaus of Freeburg. 

Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Family Bible Church in Highland and the Breese American Legion Post 252 Auxiliary. 

Memorial Service will be Monday, December 27, 2010 at 8 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Pastor Bill Dempsey officiating. 

Visitation will be Monday, December 27, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice and will be received at the funeral home. 

The Breese American Legion Auxiliary will visit the funeral home at 7:00 PM Monday evening.
