Van T. “Junior” Causey, Jr., 49, of Germantown, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese. 

Mr. Causey was born May 24, 1961 in Granite City, IL to Dorothy (Wright) and Van Causey, Sr.; they preceded him in death. 

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Causey. 

Surviving are his brothers, Gary Causey of Centralia, Walker “Doug” (Kathy) Malone of Germantown, and William "Bill" (Myra) Robinson of Breese; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends from Community Link in Breese. 

Van worked in assembly at Community Link in Breese and formerly worked at Casey’s in Albers and was a member of Grace Community Baptist Church in Trenton.  

Funeral Services will be Friday, May 6, 2011 at 12:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese with Rev. Bob Marsh officiating.  Interment will follow in Valley View Cemetery, Edwardsville. 

Visitation will be Friday, May 6, 2011 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Breese. 

Memorials can be made to Community Link and will be received at the funeral home.
