Alfred B. “Fred” Beckmann, 89, of
Germantown, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at his residence.
He was born November 8, 1921 in
Germantown to Fred and Christine (Albers) Beckmann; they preceded
him in death.
He married Dorothy Winter
May 7, 1946
at St. Boniface Church in Germantown and she preceded him in death
December 28, 2010.
Also preceded in death by brothers,
Martin and Leon Beckmann, Sisters Carrie Hagenhoff, Grace Meier,
Florence Holtmann, Leona Mueller, Brothers and sisters-in-law Catty
Beckmann, Johanna Beckmann, Ed Hagenhoff, Pete Meier, Ollie
Holtmann, Charlie Mueller, Norbert Kalmer, Harold Kaatman, Lou
Winter, Alvin and Fern Winter, Marie and Virgil Warnecke, Pauline
and Franklin Billhartz, Eleanor Winter, nephew Tom Hagenhoff.
Surviving are his children Dale
(fiancée Diane Biffar) Beckmann of Germantown, Mary Kay (Dan) Sutton
of Glendale AZ, Coleen (Jerry) Schroeder of Germantown.

Fred retired as a bookkeeper from
Jansen Chevrolet after 56 years of service. He was an army veteran
of WWII.
Member of St. Boniface Catholic
Church, Germantown. American Legion Post 325, Germantown Community
Development, past Treasurer of Germantown School District.
Funeral Mass of Christian burial
will be Friday April 29, 2011 at 1:30 PM at St. Boniface Catholic
Church in Germantown with Fr. Jim Buerster and Deacon Rich Bagby
officiating. Interment St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, April
28 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday, April 29 from 11:00 AM to 1:15
Pm at the Moss Funeral Home in
Germantown.
Germantown American Legion will hold
services Thursday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials can be made to Germantown
First Responders, Germantown American Legion, VNA TIP Hospice and
will be received at the funeral home.
