Blanche C. Becker, nee Haake, 82 of Bartelso, died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Breese Nursing Home. 

Mrs. Becker was born November 19, 1928 in Germantown to Joseph and Margaret (Kannall) Haake; they preceded her in death. 

She married Robert Becker on June 21, 1950 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown; he preceded her in death on May 29, 2001. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Lennie Becker; a sister, Ruth Haake; brothers, Robert Haake, Joseph Haake, Herbert Haake, David “Buck” Haake, Leroy “Big” Haake, and Dominic Haake; sisters-in-law, Bernadine Haake, Sally Becker, and Loretta “Shorty” Mueller; and brothers-in-law, Lawrence Becker and Joseph Kampwerth. 

Surviving are her children Connie Driscoll of Maryville, Joyce (Larry) Vest of Grafton, Robert F. Becker of Chicago, Jim (Linda) Becker of Bartelso, Ruth (Jim) Theising of Germantown, Rick (Jeralyn) Becker of St. Rose, Dominic Becker of Bartelso, and Ronny (fiancée Carol) Becker of St. Rose; 16 Grandchildren, Stephanie, Lennie, Duane, Allen, Brian, Corey, Jill, Clint, Bethany, Deanne, Emily, Jamie, Eric, Tiffany, Cassy, and Justin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marie Haake of Germantown, Pat Haake of Belleville, Rena Haake of Germantown, Sharon Haake of Germantown, Gertrude Becker of Bartelso, Paul Becker of Bartelso, Frank (Theresa) Becker of Florissant, MO, Rose (Hank) Wilken of Carlyle, Agnes Kampwerth of Carlyle, and Bill Mueller of Belleville. 

Blanche was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church and Ladies Sodality in Bartelso; she enjoyed bingo, quilting, crocheting, stitching, pinochle, and especially spending time with her family. 

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Cecilia Catholic with Fr. Henry Fischer and Fr. Edward Schaefer officiating.  Interment will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Bartelso. 

Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 from 11:00 AM-1:30 PM at the Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. 

Memorials can be made to St. Cecilia Church and will be received at the funeral home.
